Very good price, great ship time

I ordered my replacement engine on Sunday January 23rd and received it by Wednesday January 26. No shipping charge for a 75 lb. package shipped via UPS was icing on the cake. This engine was a replacement for the original on my 2013 Snapper RE 210 which started burning oil badly at the beginning of the 2021 mowing season. I'm not sure how B&G got an extra 3 hp out of the same 500 cc displacement but I'll take it. This engine bolted up exactly as my old one did. The only difference was one red wire that I have as of yet to figure out where it connects to the mowers chassis. I installed the engine on the weekend Jan 29-30. It started on the second crank and ran fine considering how cold it was. All mower functions seem to work as normal without any kill switches malfunctioning. I suspect the wire could be a low oil kill but I hope to never allow if to get to that. In short experience with Equipatron has been very positive.

Equipatron is great. Briggs doesn't build this engine like they say they do.

First: I received the engine fast and it is exactly as pictured. Equipatron rocks. Second: Briggs is a joke. If you look up the parts manual for this model it shows it having an oil filter. If you look up the product description, it says "full pressure lubrication standard". BE ADVISED THAT THIS ENGINE DOES NOT HAVE AN OIL FILTER. It more resembles the Powerbilt series with the carb from an Intek.

replacement for 17 year old briggs engine

engine bolted up easy enough, but the wiring did not match up. It had me puzzles for a little bit. The fix was to cut the wiring harness and splice it to the new engine. Engine works great so far, nice having an engine that doesn't leak oil or smoke .
